Bee-eater, Rainbow - mostly a common winter visitor
Babbler, Grey-crowned - very common
Baza, Pacific - occasional in denser woodland towards ranges and along Mitchell river
Boobook, Southern - moderately common
Bowerbird, Great - common
Brolga - sometimes about the dams
Bronzewing - common
Brush-Turkey, Australian - small numbers along the Mitchell River
Bustard, Australian - Maryfarms
Butcherbird, Pied - common
Buzzard, Black-breasted - rare, couple of records from dam area
Cicadabird - moderately common summer visitor
Cisticola, Golden-headed - Maryfarms
Cockatiel - rare, one record from Maryfarms area
Cockatoo, Sulphur-crested - common
Cockatoo, Red-tailed Black - nomadic, sometimes very common

Coot, Eurasian  -  sometimes large numbers on the tailings dam
Cormorant, Great  -  usually a few on the dams
          Little Black  -  moderately common about the dams
          Little Pied - moderately common about the dams
Coucal, Pheasant  -  moderately common in grassy areas
Crake, Baillon's  -  has been recorded about the dams in small numbers
Crow, Torresian  -  common
Cuckoo, Brush  -  summer visitor in small numbers
          Channel-billed - moderately common summer visitor
          Fan-tailed - uncommon winter visitor
          Horsfield's Bronze  -  uncommon and irregular
          Little Bronze  -  moderately common
          Pallid - small numbers
Cuckoo-shrike, Black-faced  -  common in most areas
          White-bellied - common throughout
Currawong, Pied  -  occasional visitor, mostly in small numbers, irregular
Darter, Australian  -  nearly always about the dams in small numbers
Dollarbird  -  moderately common summer visitor
Dotterel, Black-fronted  -  occasionally small numbers about the dams
          Red-kneed - a dry season visitor in small numbers about the dams
Dove, Bar-shouldered  -  common
          Diamond - irregular about town area, more common towards Hurricane Station
          Emerald - along denser creeks
          Peaceful - very common
Drongo, Spangled  -  common
Duck, Australian Wood  -  moderately common about the small dams
          Pacific Black  -  common
          Pink-eared - rare, has been seen on the dams
          Wandering Whistling-duck
